Loudon – Tony Stewart led once for 40 laps to earn WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in today’s LENOX Industrial Tools 301. Stewart claimed the honor for the fourth time this season. He has led at least one lap in nine races this season (including four of the last five) for a total of 150 laps. In 247 superspeedway starts, Stewart has now led 108 times for 5,938 laps. Unofficially, Kyle Busch leads Stewart by one race (5-4) in the WIX Filters Lap Leader standings. Stewart scored a fifth-place finish in today’s race, his ninth top-five and 13th top-10.
