Two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Tony Stewart held off four-time champ Jeff Gordon for his second Kansas Speedway win. Both drivers moved up a spot in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup standings while Mark Martin extended his lead over Jimmie Johnson.

Stewart Claims Victory Number Four

Kansas City, KS – Tony Stewart took the lead in his No. 14 Office Depot/Old Spice Impala SS on lap 238 of the 267-lap Price Chopper 400 and never looked back to claim his fourth victory of the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) season.

Newman Soldiers to 22nd-Place Finish in Kansas
