Notes from the media tour

Dustin Long reports that:

Ryan Newman’s team will put Haas Automation on the car for the races it doesn’t have a sponsor, as of now. The U.S. Army will sponsor the team in 22 races and the all-star event. Haas Automation is the Haas (it once was owner Gene Haas, who now is in jail) in Stewart-Haas Racing.

and

Tony Gibson, crew chief for Ryan Newman, joined Stewart-Haas Racing from DEI. Gibson brought 11 other crew members with him from DEI to Stewart Haas. Three, though, have already left for other jobs.
