Poor starting positions can’t keep Stewart-Haas Racing from the front
It was a long night at Chicagoland Speedway for Stewart-Haas Racing but in the end, they prevailed over ill handling cars, pit road problems, and a race that ran nearly caution free until the last 50 laps.
Tony Stewart started the evening in the 32nd starting position but managed to finish in 4th place.
Ryan Newman started in 12th, ran as low as 19th, and ended the night in 6th.
