Yes, John, they should reflect that the driver started at # (37) and they could note that the driver qualled at # (5) instead the the way showing it on the Official Results.

They could have an note about the change. It would be more honest, eh?

True Gwyn, he did actually start in 37th, but the record books will forever show it as 5th.

Personally, I'd like them to change the records so that the official start reflects the actual. If you take the green in 37th, that's what the records should show.

Tony, you had a great race. You were out front so we all know you and your team are winners. Feel sorry for Ryan but it is in the past and he will be just great next week. Thank you crew for both drivers for doing an outstanding job. Tony, thanks for a great weekend. Looking forward to next weekend.

John, I know you now that Tony went to the back because of the wreck with Newman, so he did not start in 5th. Instead, he started in 37th*, which our guy overcome it. I am very proud of him. He was about to blow up gasket re Goodyear, but he calmed down and was in the hunt BIGTIME.

* The only place to find where can find the real start of a driver:

http://www.nascar.com/races/cup/2009/1/data/results_unofficial.html

I have links of stats on NASCAR.com because it is difficult to find things on the site. And the new site is even worse.

No disappointed fans either!!! Tony and Ryan did a great job along with the crew that got them there. I, too, believe Tony had a 5th place or better car if the rain didn't call the race. Looking forward to week 2!!!
