Ryan Newman, driver of the #39 U.S. Army Chevrolet, will sign copies of the charity book Pit Road Pets™: NASCAR Stars and Their Pets during the upcoming Daytona 500 race weekend.

The book features first-person stories and intimate photographs of nearly 50 NASCAR celebrities and their pets – including Newman, his wife Krissie and their four rescued dogs.

The book signing will take place Saturday, February 14 at 1:45 PM at the Meaty Bone Experience tent. The Meaty Bone Experience will be located at Speedway Village in the Daytona Beach Flea and Farmer’s Market (next Daytona International Speedway). Newman will sign up to two copies of Pit Road Pets in addition to one other item per person during the autograph session.

Tickets for the book signing will be distributed to the first 100 fans with a Pit Road Pets book at the Meaty Bone experience tent beginning on Friday, February 13 at 10:00 AM.

Fans may purchase copies of the book at the Meaty Bone Experience tent on Friday, February 13 and Saturday, February 14 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Ryan Newman Fan Club will be selling books at the Meaty Bone Experience Tent for a special “Buy 1 Book, Get the Second Book Half Price” discount.

Books can also be purchased at Newman’s trackside merchandise trailer or ordered in advance from the Official Ryan Newman website at www.ryannewman.org.

Meaty Bone will donate on box of Meaty Bone dog biscuits to Daytona’s Halifax Humane Society shelter dogs for every book signed. About Pit Road Pets™: NASCAR Stars and Their Pets:

Wish I could be in Daytona to see the race. So proud of Ryan’s commitment to charity’s. I was at Stocks for Tots one year when he was signing sheet metal.

I really want to know if Tony’s boss is going to let him run the Indy 500 this year. Please…please..Cathy
