Newman Escapes Serious Injury in Harrowing Accident at Talladega

TALLADEGA, Ala. – Ryan Newman was evaluated and released from the infield medical center following a spectacular crash in the late stages of Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Talladega Superspeedway. The incident relegated Newman to a 36th-place finish in the AMP Energy 500.
