FONTANA, Calif. – The torrid early-season pace continues for Ryan Newman, who posted a fifth-place finish in Sunday’s Auto Club 400 Sprint Cup race. It was Newman’s fourth straight top-10 result and his third top-five in the first-five races of the 2011 campaign. The fifth-place finish at Auto Club Speedway lifted Newman from fourth to second in the driver point standings.
