Helmet with Tony Stewart Autograph in Charity Auction

GRANDVIEW, Mo. – Maureen MacDonald of Raleigh, N.C. was recently crowned Mrs. America 2009, and is putting that title to use in raising donations for the Prevent Child Abuse America charitable organization. In October, Mrs. MacDonald was given exclusive access by Speedway Children’s Charities to the NASCAR drivers meeting at the Bank of America 500, held at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, N.C. She took with her a plain white helmet and a Sharpie marker, and was able to obtain the signatures of 42 NASCAR drivers and personalities.
