Statesville, NC – Ryan Newman will return to the driver’s seat of the No. 1 Phoenix Racing Chevrolet in this weekend’s Dollar General 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. “It’s been a lot of fun racing for James (Finch),” said Newman. “I love racing at Charlotte and had success here over the years. Running a limited schedule is always fun, because there’s none of the stress that usually comes with a full-time ride.
