Tony Stewart Has A Tough But Fun Night at Thunder Road
Tony Stewart didn’t get the finish he wanted in Thursday nights CarQuest Governor’s Cup 150 at Thunder Road International Speedbowl. He started the evening in 16th but spun 35 laps into the race and struggled to recover, coming back to finish 16th in the 30-car field, one lap down. Stewart in a Late Model?
Will we be seeing Tony Stewart in a Late Model next June? Green-White-Checker is reporting that Stewart has been invited to compete in the Governor’s Cup 150 at Thunder Road International Speedway on Thursday June 25. The Governor’s Cup is a Late Model non-points race for the American-Canadian Tour. Stewart will be in the area already since the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 weekend begins the next day at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Tony Stewart could be competing in a Late Model event at storied Thunder Road International Speedbowl this season. Stewart has been invited to compete in the Governor’s Cup 150, a non-points race for the American-Canadian Tour at Thunder Road on Thursday, June 25.
