FORT WORTH, Texas – Ryan Newman’s No. 39 U.S. Army Chevrolet will pay tribute to the men and women of the Army Reserve in the Samsung Mobile 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race Saturday, at Texas Motor Speedway. The paint scheme on the hood and rear-quarter panel of Newman’s car will showcase Army Reserve. Since the U.S. Army Reserves was founded in 1908, Reserve Soldiers have received the same training as active-duty Soldiers and have had the opportunity to serve near home until they are needed to deploy.
